Our Team

We have put together a team of  international enthusiastic, experienced and down-to-earth professionals from Italy and around the world. Our team will offer a variety of disciplines: aerial yoga; shiatsu; watsu; Ayurvedic massage; bio-energy treatments;  nutritional advise; trekking; bee-keeping; natural food preserves.

What all of them have in common is a deep tie with the magical people and nature of Abruzzo and a commitment to make you feel especially welcome and restored in every activity you will choose.

Rosalba

The flying yogi

Rosalba has been practicing and teaching yoga for twenty years. She trained in Unnata Yoga with Michelle Dortignac, Hatha Yoga and Prenatal Yoga in India, Italy and New York. She practice several olistic massage disciplines and Watsu—Shiatsu in hot water. Rosalba works and lives between Abruzzo and the beautiful Eolian Islands in Sicily.

Pasquale

The yogi of yogis

Trained in the '70's with Swami Sivananda in India he baceme and pioneer of Yoga in Italy, opening its first yoga center in 1978. 

In the early 90's, Pasquale studied Shiatsu and Chinese Medicine.

From 1994 to 2007, he was the personal assistant of Sri Govindan during his courses of Ayurvedic massage in Italy and was awarded the practicioner diploma. Pasquale lives in Vasto, where he is the Director of the "Yoga Sivananda" Association.

 

Sergio

The mystical yogi

Sergio is a dancer, yogi and trained in ancient sciamanic energy techniques.  Born in Argentina and lving and working in Barcelona, Sergio's roots are from Abruzzo, with which he has a mystical connection.

Manuel

The Dancing Aura

Manuel is a professional dancer and a passionate yoga teacher  with experience from around the globe at the world’s greatest theaters. Trained at the Teatro Colon in his native Argentina, his dance skills, ranging from classical to contemporary, have led him from South America, to Europe, the Middle East and New York City.   While in New York, he worked extensively in film and television, as well as a dancer / performer / actor at the Metropolitan Opera for 5 years.  His real passion is yoga.  Studying with Marco Rojas, he completed his teacher’s training at Pure Yoga, NYC and has taught around the world. Manuel currently lives in Barcelona.

Sonyea

The fast pace yogi.

 

Born in Seoul Korea, Sonyea grew up in Sydney and now lives  in Udine Italy.

Her fascination and curiosity for this practice started with an Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga retreat in 2005.

Her teachers training started in Italy , and continued  with great masters of Ashtanga Yoga in both Mexico and Miami. 

Sonyea specializes in beginners level Primary series of Ashtanga Yoga.

 

Giovanni

The farmer with a secret

No words can do justice to Giovanni. You just have to meet him. Now an organic farmer, a bees keeper, a trekking guide, Giovanni has worked with children with disabilities for over twenty years. He has also excelled in a million of other enterprises and loves anything that involves manuality. In the eighties Giovanni backpacked in the most off-beaten track destinations in the world, including Borneo and Timbuktu.

Gerd

The unexpected chef

A one of a kind  chef …. Native of Denmark, Gerd has lived in A bruzzo  for over 30 years. She teaches cooking at the "University of Terza eta'". You will never forget her “Cacio & Ovi’ and will never guess that she was not born in Italy.

Luigi & Elisabetta

The hosts who read your mind

Are the faboulous owners of Bagni Vittoria. They are two world-travelled and unconventional hosts, who master the art of making visitors and dreamers feel at home.

They invested all their passion in creating a cozy, peaceful boutique hotel right by the sea, in the beautiful coast of Trabocchi. The location is immersed in nature and every detail contemporary, sleek with but with a touch of vintage. From furniture to service, no details escape the keen eyes of Luigi and Elisabetta.
